It's no secret that I'm in love with love, and I adore every single love story that my clients share with me. I also love going on adventures and creating magic in new, beautiful spaces. With Adventure Elopements, you're allowed to take a step back and truly focus on the magic that's happening between you and your partner, because I'll not only be taking photos of your big day, but I'll also be your elopement planner. This means that I'll help you choose a location to get married (if you don't already have a place in mind!), locate gorgeous lodging options for your first night as a married couple, work with the florist of your choice to decorate your dream bouquet, secure special permits for outdoor spaces if needed, and so much more. I'm your support, your friend, and your documentarian.

FAQ

I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

My base prices include travel and lodging expenses. For elopements and weddings that are more than 1 hour away from Columbia, South Carolina, I try to arrive to the town where your ceremony will be at least 24 hours in advance and leave the following day. This ensures that I do not have any hiccups arriving to your ceremony and that I'm able to deliver those sneak peeks to you in a timely manner!

II. What if we want something more extreme for our elopement (hiking, diving, etc)?

Let's chat about it! I love to hike, and I'm always up for an adventure!

III. We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?

I love dogs!! I'm all for including your furry friends in spaces that allow dogs. Many public spaces do ask that you keep your pet on a leash at all times.

IV. How long does it take to recieve the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?

Just like with a wedding or standard elopement, I'll have your full gallery ready for you within 8 weeks. This allows me to take my time to go through and make each image perfect. You will, however, receive a sneak peek gallery within 24 hours of your elopement.

V. Do we need a wedding officiant for our elopement? If yes, can you recommend one?

You do not necessarily need an officiant. Some couples choose to legally marry (whether at a courthouse or with a notary) and then celebrate with an elopement ceremony. Other couples opt to have a dear friend or family member who is ordained join them during their ceremony. Because I am a notary, I am able to legally marry couples in South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Maine, and Nevada. I'd be happy to take care of the legal stuff with you and then capture photos of you and your partner saying your vows. I also have a comprehensive list of wonderful officiants that I'd be happy to share with you, if you'd like to have another person standing in front of you while I capture your big day.
